We bought this sewer kit before we even picked up our RV because we know that the sewer was something we did not want to mess around with. What I like about this kit is that it includes a clear 90 degree elbow which makes it easy to see what color the water is and when it stop flowing. There is also sewer hose caps included to make sure all the smells of the inside of the sewer hose stay there!!! We currently have a total of 30ft of Camco sewer hose and haven’t had any issues with them up to this point besides the occasional user error.
This is one of those products you will see all over the campground. If we are going to be in a spot for more than one dump then we make sure to put this out under our sewer hose. We find that the sewer support is helpful to keep everything flowing and also comes in handy at those RV parks that have the sewer connection sticking out of the ground and you need a little extra height to keep the connection from falling out. No one likes dealing with sewer hoses but this sewer support makes things a little easier.
Who knows why but the dump valves that RV manufactures put connected to the tanks always seem to leak at least a little bit when moving with liquid in the tanks. For that very reason we have an extra valve on the output pipe for our sewer connection to make sure when we go to hook up our sewer hose we don’t get any unwanted surprises. This valve also works great in conjunction with the Camco holding tank flush attachment so that we can dump then backfill our tanks when we need to.
It might be hard to tell from the picture what this is for but its something that has become really useful in our full time RV life. This piece hooks onto the output pipe for our sewer connection before our gate valve and sewer hose. This acts as a tank flush that works on the outside rather than the one in our RV. Since we have two black tanks we can only do the black tank rinse if both tanks are hooked up to sewer at the same time. This isnt always something we want to do so this piece allows us to flush one tank at a time and still get everything out till our next full tank cleaning rinse.
