Tech on the road

XGIMI Halo 1080p Portable Mini Projector

We love to be outside and we like watching football or movies a projector allows us to combine these two activities for even more fun! We have a screen we can use with our projector but often times we project it onto the side of our RV for quick and easy setup. This project also provides a super crisp and clean picture that is able to be viewed from all distances and angles. It is worth noting this model does not support the Netflix app but we get around this by connecting a google chromecast to the HDMI port. We get so much enjoyment being able to watch things outside with friends around the fire!

Arlo Pro 4 Spotlight Camera

When we travel we often don’t know where we will end up or who else will be around. To make us feel a little safer we decided to get a wireless security camera to mount above our entry door. We liked the reviews for the Arlo camera’s and ended up on the Arlo Pro 4 spotlight camera. This camera has been great allowing us to see who’s at the door before answering and gives us a nice spotlight at night whenever movement is detected. The magnet that holds it to the mount is also super strong and can withstand strong winds, rain and hail. We love the wireless nature of this camera and provides us with an extra layer of comfort when we are boondocking or at a harvest host location.

Vantrue N2 Pro Dual Dash Cam

When traveling around the country in a RV there can be some crazy drivers or situations that happen while driving. With it being hard to stop our heavy truck and RV we wanted to make sure we had a dash cam to be able to document if we ever got in an accident. The great this about this dash cam is that it records both inside and outside of the truck and has a great night mode to capture video during any time of day. We also find that we can get good video footage of the beautiful locations and scenic drives we take!
